EUROPE 07-Austria-Fern Pass (19/04/07)

After the Neuschwanstein castles in Schwangau/Fussen, we travelled southwards through the Fern Pass to Innsbruck in the late afternnon. Fern Pass (elevation 1212 m) is a mountain pass in the Tyrolean Alps in Austria. The road, known as Fernpass Straße (B 179), connects Fussen of Germany with northern Austria. The distance from Fussen to Schwangau is about 100km and the drive took about 1.5 hrs. There are some great sceneries along the way.
