Today is a steady climb from Dovan to Machpurchare Base Camp (3,700m). As we climbed higher, the landscape changes from lush forest to alphine land. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated and heavy clouds began to cover the sky, a sharp contrast to the sunny weather in the previous few days.

The valley narrows as we trek closer towards the Annapurna Sanctuary. The sky was completed covered by heavy clouds.

A waterfall perched high on a rocky slope.

The trail is close to the Modi Khola.

Outcrops of alphine grass on the rocks.

Clear glacier water streaming down the Modi Khola.
