The following three days we trekked to Birethani/Nayapooi to take a ride back to Pohkara. As the photos showed, the weather improved significantly after we left the Annapurna Sanctuary. So unfortunate!
A sparse wood near Machpurchare Base Camp, a remain of what used to be a large forest. Perhaps it was destroyed by fire or weather changes. The wood was misty on our way up. It was clearer on our way down.
Looking towards the Modi Khola Valley. Heavy clouds still cover the sky.
